Small Works on paper
The trip to Asheville was bitter sweet. We spent the week between our two birthdays to say goodbye to our 15 year old Brussels Griffon. It was cooler there then in Florida. She got some relief there. She spent 4 days high up on our deck with a view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. She received all the love and caring we could give. She even enjoyed the hot tub, leftovers from my birthday meal(trout almandine from Bouchon), and the kindness of our host, Janet Peterson. The cabin we stayed in was Silver Lining, one of 3 cabins available for rental. It was she that suggested we bury cece under the raspberry patch just below Silver Lining.
