Small Works on paper
On our annual trip to North Carolina, Hurricane Florence hit east of the road we were traveling on. We had lots of wind and rain, even though we were far west of the Atlantic. We came close to a terrible accident when a young woman hit a large puddle and swerved across our lane. When we arrived in just outside of Asheville,I started painting like mad, partly therapeutic and partly due to the impending event of saying goodbye to CeCe, our 15 year old Brussels Griffon. I thought of the victims of Florence as well.
